Mulefactory: buy cheap PoE currency instant delivery (6% off coupon: poeitems). Auras are persistent area of effect skills that surround a person or creature with some radius and grant their effects to allies and/or enemies within that radius (the aura's area of effect). The on-kill damage taken, however, still applies. Since Death Aura is a triggered skill, it will not be activated if equipped on Animate Guardian. While this gem does not provide any direct damage increase (since Death Aura doesn’t scale with spell damage), it adds a duration component which will enable the use of the following support gems: Item Quantity Support (currently unobtainable normally)Īdditionally, Arcane Surge Support can be used in a socket to support Death Aura. The tool tip damage does not display damage increases from X% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras you Cast modifiers from unique items such as Dying Breath and from the passive tree, but the actual damage of the skill is affected by these modifiers.Ĭurrently, there are five support gems that naturally affect Death Aura: Over time, we've introduced a number of ways to take advantage of their mechanics like the Blasphemy Support which creates a curse-aura, or adding the ability to apply curses with the Curse on Hit support. This means that if characters are following an aurabot, there's (nearly) no point in having auras themselves. The chaos damage over time aura is a skill that activates on equipping Death’s Oath, and is modified by socketed support gems as well as modifiers that affect auras, area of effect, damage over time, and chaos damage. Curses are among some of the first skills that were introduced to Path of Exile. The I beleive it would be more accurate to say the one with the stronger effect since increased effect of non-curse aura can make a slightly lower level curse stronger then a higher level one. Deals 562.5 Base Chaos Damage per secondĪs a red (strength) gem socket is not the desired colour for a Death Aura build, and because Death’s Oath has a high strength requirement, it is recommended to use a Crafting Bench and the add-socket / remove-socket method to recolour the socket of this item.

It casts an aura that deals Chaos Damage over Time to nearby Enemies. clarity will probably be the first to go (or not, depends on the team, I'll get all of the auras on call to switch as needed) )Įdit : only downside is I found out that there is exactly 3 unique creatures (/boss) that are curse immune.Death Aura is a spell skill. Still got to see it at the late level in action so I can say for certain if I'll need to drop a couple auras because of it or not (running -38% mana reserved reduction from passive, -2% from jewel, some extra 3 -25% (-65% total) from Prism Shield, curses -12% (-52% total) and all of it with Mortal Conviction) This build got a max 4 curse limit (2 from passives, 1 from item, 1 base), but I do appreciate the input as it clarify for other readers in the future (assuming they bother to look), all of wich get level 22 blasphemy from heretic's veil (with an added 12% reduced mana reserved, yeah!) I've implemented a Cyclone cast while channeling mechanic with Arc that provides us with Curse and energy shield on hit. I'm talking about #increase curse effect) The build is still focused on aura stacking and carrion golems as the main DPS source despite the 3.13 'nerfs' for the entire build.

There's a visual indicator on the character that shows that you have the curse aura on. Blasphemy curses aren't being applied to the player, so they don't belong there. and I'm not talking about #increase non-curse aura effect. Those icons are only for buffs/debuffs affecting the player. obviously they should not, that's my job (plus I got all those passive that further increase the effect. if you are cursing the hell out of everything the people you are running with should not run any curses themselves.
